The Russian North is a beautiful, mysterious, and endlessly charming land that is full of quaint old Russian towns, ancient architecture, pristine and virgin nature untouched by civilization. You won't see many photographers here. The Russian North is undeservedly deprived of attention. With that said, the tourist infrastructure has been actively developing for the past few years.
.
These places offer endless possibilities for landscape photography. An amazing, inimitable fusion of nature, architecture, and long-standing subjects of the past turn the trip into an unforgettable adventure. The variety and quality of the captured images allow no one to stay indifferent and compel travelers to come back for more. The highlight feature of the Russian North is its incredibly picturesque sunrises and sunsets. Our trip happens during the northern summer nights, most notably known as white nights, when the heavenly extravaganza seems endless, and the sunset smoothly fuses into the sunrise.
Speaking of the Russian North, I primarily mean Karelia, the Vologda and Arkhangelsk regions. Those places, which harbor the history of ancient Russia, have not been fully explored by landscape photographers. Photographing those places is a unique opportunity to capture images that have never been taken before you.
