Please read Terms and Conditions before registration to a Phototour
Terms of payment.

Payment of a deposit is obligatory to guarantee your spot on a Photo tour (Photography workshop)*.

In order to make a reservation for a Photo tour you must fill in the relevant request form on the web site https://dmitryarkhipov.com. After reserving your spot on the Photo tour you will receive an email confirmation with instructions for transferring the deposit.

Amount of the deposit is determined according to the terms of the Photo tour as described on the web site. The deposit must be paid within one week after the confirmation is received.

If your deposit is not paid within one week of the confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. If you are planning to pay the deposit later, please contact us prior to transferring the money to make sure your reservation is still valid.

Full payment for the Photo tour must be made not later than 2 months before the start of the Photo tour, unless otherwise indicated in the tour description on the website or agreed by the parties in the course of written communication.

If a Photo tour is being booked less than 2 months prior to the tour, the full price of the tour shall be payable immediately after receiving confirmation.


Waiting list

If a photo tour is already fully booked, we suggest that you register in the waiting list. You can do so by filling in the form on the page of the Photo tour.


Visas

If necessary, we will prepare and send you the documents required for the visa application by your request.
Depending on the country and conditions of the Photo tour, the list of documents may include:

  • an official invitation from the organizers of the Photo tour
  • confirmation of accommodation reservations
  • confirmation of transport reservations
  • the route and schedule of the Photo tour.
As organizers of the Photo tour, we will assist you in obtaining visas.

However, having valid passports, visas and any other required travel documents (including COVID vaccine certificates, PCR test results e t. c.) is the responsibility of the participants of the Photo tour.

Refusal of a visa is not a basis for refunding any payments made for a Photo tour. We advise you to apply for the necessary visas as soon as possible, so that in case your visa application is rejected we would be able to find a replacement for you in which case a refund can be made.


Cancellation policy

If circumstances change and you cannot take part in the Photo tour, please send us a written message about the cancellation of your reservation as soon as possible. We will make every effort to find a replacement for you. The refund (less payment order expenses) for the Photo tour will be done only if another customer is found to take your spot in the tour.

If a Photo tour is cancelled by the organizers, the payment will be refunded to the client in full. The organizers shall not be responsible for any losses or expenses incurred by the participants during the preparation for the expedition such as air tickets, hotel fees, special equipment, etc.

We recommend that you buy plane tickets only after you receive an email from the organizers with recommendations about the tickets.
Drones

In case you decide to bring your drone to a Photo tour, please make sure to check requirements and restrictions which may apply to importing and operating your drone in the country of Photo tour. Organizers will be happy to consult you on taking photos from the drone during a Photo tour but shall not be liable for any losses you may incur in the result of unauthorized import or operation of a drone.


Photo equipment

It will be highly beneficial for you if you make sure to set up your camera before a Photo tour. If however you need any advice on how to set up or use your camera, we will do our best to assist you, but kindly ask you to bring your camera manual since even though organizers are specialists in most Canon equipment (modern models), they cannot be expected to be experts on technical settings of each and every make and model of existing cameras.


Force Majeure

Force majeure means any event beyond the reasonable control of the organizer that is inevitable and extraordinary, including but not limited to natural disasters / adverse weather conditions, epidemics, pandemics or any other viral outbreaks, global health emergencies, pollution, public unrest / strikes, war, mobilisation, changes in laws or regulations, coercive measures by the state or quarantine, which make the execution of the route and services partially or completely impossible. In case of a force majeure the organizers may postpone or cancel the Photo tour.

The organizers will make every effort to suggest alternative dates for the tour. Participants will receive a personal voucher for the amount paid. The voucher can be used to pay for the rescheduled tour. By agreement of the organizers, the voucher can be used to pay for another tour.

Accommodation

The price of the tour is based on double occupancy. Single occupancy is charged additionally. If double occupancy is not possible for any reason, the participant shall pay for single occupancy.

Insurance

Medical insurance, covering illness, injury and emergency evacuation, is obligatory for participation in our Photo tours.

You should also consider buying insurance that covers you in the event of loss or theft of luggage, flight delays, etc. We do not cover these risks; each participant is fully responsible for their own insurance cover throughout the trip and we recommend that you take out additional insurance to avoid unforeseen expenses.


Schedule

Please plan your flights allowing a generous time margin for both arrival and departure. If your flight is delayed, you may not be able to join the Photo tour on time. Sometimes it may be possible to catch up with the group, but it may not always be the case. At the end of the Photo tour, it is also possible that the group may not return to the designated point as scheduled due to difficult weather conditions, heavy traffic, road accidents or other events that could affect time travel time. Please also make sure that if your travel includes a transfer, transfer time between flights is enough for the airline to transfer your luggage.

Kindly note that if you purchase air tickets without prior consulting the organizers and in the result your flights are scheduled in such a way that you arrive later or need to leave earlier than is suggested by the program of the Photo tour, you would have to pay for individual transfer, since we would not be able to change the plans for the group in order to accommodate your personal schedule.


Difficulty level

Usually our Photo tours are designed for people with moderate physical abilities but if you have health issues please be sure to consult us about the difficulty of the Photo tour and expected physical activities before confirming your reservation.

Legal terms of Photo tours

Photo tour (Photography workshop) is a joint trip of photographers and it is obvious that anything can happen while traveling. Together we will make our trip safe and comfortable. Meanwhile it is requested to consider that unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, epidemics, property loss, accidents and other risks are all individual's own responsibility. Acceptance of the Offer Document (waiver) by acknowledging above mentioned risks is necessary for participation in a Photo tour Photo tour (Photography workshop). The organizers shall not bear responsibility for the above mentioned risks.
