Patagonia. Laying among the mountains, glaciers, pampas, and alpine lakes is the magical and mystical land of Patagonia. Patagonia is home to the planet's most sublime mountains: Fitzroy and Cerro Torre in Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina, and Torres and Cuernos in the Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. Here, you will not only enjoy the beauty of the grandiose mountain ranges but also photograph breathtaking views of incredible locations.
.
This trip will take place at the beginning of the tourist season, in the spring, when the best time for photographing glaciers comes in El Calafate, and I must say that the glaciers here are simply fantastic. There are very few rainy days at this time of the year, and we will have every chance of beautifully capturing the wonderful peaks of Patagonia.
While we'll be living in the finest hotels in the region, we'll take short walks every day to the beautiful places around and take pictures of the surrounding landscapes from the best photo locations.
We'll also encounter noteworthy and unusual animals. Patagonian fauna is very diverse and peculiar. Here, one can spot flocks of guanacos, vicunas, armadillos, foxes, cougars, and a variety of birds of prey.
Iguazu. After Patagonia, I suggest that we continue the tour and go to Iguazu Falls, which is located on the border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Iguazu Falls are some of the most beautiful and photogenic waterfalls on our planet. The grandeur, the expanse, and the power of the falling water are amazing. Moreover, the surrounding jungle waterfalls add a unique flavor to this place.
We'll live in a luxurious hotel which offers an amazing view of the waterfalls. Since the hotel is located on the territory of the national park, we don't have to travel far to photograph the waterfall at the most convenient times when there are fewer people in the park.
