Namibia, home to stunning wildlife, incredible landscapes and extravagant colonial architecture, is a real discovery for beginner photographers and experienced professionals alike.

Namibia boasts an amazing array of photo opportunities, from the spectacular majestic sand dunes of Sossusvlei to the mesmerizing forest of quiver trees.
This country is huge and sparsely populated, so we have compiled our program so that you can see and photograph the most important things, get an impression and feel the atmosphere of the African continent during a week of travel.
Namibian dessert
After Namibia, our path leads to the famous Victoria Falls. We will see and shoot one of the greatest waterfalls on earth. Its power is amazing and mesmerizing. And the short flight from Windhoek goes well with our tour to Namibia. We will visit two countries at once - Zambia and Zimbabwe, along the border of which the waterfall passes, and shoot from both sides.

It so happened that just 70 km from the waterfalls, on the Chobe River, you can see and photograph amazing African animals. Botswana is possibly the best place in all of Africa for wildlife photography. If you like to photograph animals in their natural habitat - welcome to our workshop. We will spend three full days in a comfortable lodge on the river, from where we will go on an exciting photo safari every day.
The map of African photo tour
The best time to visit Namibia and Botswana for photographers is the dry season, from June to September. During these months, there is a lot of bright sun and starry night sky, creating ideal conditions for shooting.

During the dry months, it is also great to watch animals in the national parks. From June to September the vegetation is sparse and the animals tend to congregate around the last remaining bodies of water, so we can get great shots of a wide variety of animals.

NAMIBIAN RING
Along the deserts and the ocean
Not far from the town of Keetmanshoop in Namibia there is one of the most beautiful photography spots in the entire country: the Quiver Forest.

Here we will see a whole forest of huge aloes. Long ago Bushmen used these plants to make quivers for their arrows, hence the name.
We will be shooting these incredible plants at sunrise and sunset, as well as at night with the dazzling starry sky, so your collection of the quiver trees photographs will be complete and truly amazing.
After the quiver tree forest we will visit the mysterious abandoned ghost town of Kolmanskop.

Once built for the workers of the diamond mine, the city prospered. However, when diamond mining dropped in the 1950s, the inhabitants of Kolmanskop left it, the the sands gradually began to take over the buildings. Despite this, many houses are perfectly preserved. We will be able to photograph the ghost town and feel the atmosphere of desolation.
There is the largest colony of seals on the planet on the Atlantic coast of Namibia.
VICTORIA FALLS
One of the most impressive places in southern Africa
Victoria Falls is one of the natural wonders of the world and one of the most impressive places in southern Africa. It is also one of the most interesting for nature photographers.

There are about 30 points from which you can photograph the waterfall, and each of them offers a slightly different angle. Most of them are located frontally, but perhaps the most interesting from a photographic point of view are those closer to the edges. On the Zimbabwe side of the observation deck, there are steps leading down to the platform, which offers a stunning view of the falls from the bottom up.
SAFARI IN BOTSWANA
Perhaps this is the best photo safari you can experience.
Botswana, unlike many other African safari destinations, is still completely wild and natural. There are few tourists here, few paved roads and very few fenced areas ... It is really untouched and beautiful. On our adventure we will photograph in one of the most amazing places on the planet.
In a small group of like-minded people, we will spend many hours in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas on the continent with an impressive variety of wild animals: lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, hippos, over 250 species of birds and many many others.
