Strange to say, but there still exist unusual places on the planet, not footworn by photographers. One of these places is the fabulous cypress swamps of Louisiana and Texas.

EXPEDITION ITINERARY
Day 1 (Nov 2)
Our tour starts in Houston and we will spend the first night in Spring, TX (20 minutes cab ride from Houston George Bush International Airport). We meet for dinner at the Holiday Inn Exp & Suit and next day starting to our first lake.

Days 2-7 (Nov 3-8)
We'll be spending time at several beautiful lakes with cypress trees, so we will have the most diversity possible during our trip, visiting the most stunning groups of trees and cypress corridors at the golden hour, looking for impeccable reflections and interesting scenes.
Get ready for a real adventure – most of the time we will be taking photos from kayaks and canoes (which of course will be provided by us along with the necessary equipment). Don't worry – even if you have never tried anything like that, you'll find that the water in the swamps is very calm with no currents, waves or even wind, so you'll be absolutely comfortable and safe, and of course you'll have all the support you need from the leaders to help you get adjusted and learn to operate your kayaks and canoes.

We will be staying in cozy local hotels and lodges / bungalows where we would relax from the adventurous parts of the tour, exchange thoughts and opinions on photography, and just have great time with fellow photographers.

We selected the best dates of the year to visit the swamps and see their autumn colors and mysterious morning fogs, and we will have a full week to explore the swamps and make sure that each of you makes the best photos of this amazing place.

Last day we are leaving to Huston in the morning and we are planning to arrive to the Huston airport around 4 p.m. You can stay in Huston for one more night or fly back home (no earlier than 6 p.m.)
