Yellow Mountains and Avatar

China is one of the biggest countries in the world, having a variety of attractions and number of places to visit. Yellow Mountains or Chinese Huangshan is one of those most popular and ideal destinations for tourists. Huangshan is in the province of Anhui in China and it is renamed after the legendary ruler of Chinese people HUANG DI. The real charm of visiting the Yellow Mountains is in the season of winter when people are trudging in heavy snow and enjoying the frosty temperatures.

The Yellow Mountains were listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the late 20^th century. It is popular because these mountains resemble a beautiful fairy tale having its peak covered with hard and white ice, beautiful rocks, hot springs and fascinating clouds.

We have planned to spend two days at this beautiful place. We will stay in the hotel, located at the top of the mountains so that we can enjoy the sense of serenity and closeness to nature. The top view from the hotel will also make it easy to take photographs of the whole beautiful landscape. We will definitely enjoy different reflections of mountains, at different times of the day.

After having a memorable time at the Yellow Mountains, we will move towards our second destination, which is the province of Hunan. The Hunan is located in the south-central part of China and is known in the world for its natural beauty. One of the famous films 'Avatar' was also shot there. In Hunan, you can see dizzying valleys and astonishing flying rocks. We will also visit the Zhangjiaje i.e., the glass bridge, which is one of the most popular places located in the National Forest Park of China. This place allows you to take crazy pictures to add to your travel diaries. We will also visit the Golden Whip Stream known as 'the most beautiful valley' in the world as well as 'the most poetic stream'.

We have also planned to visit the ancient Chinese Villages so that we can see the ancient charm of China and will also capture photos of local residents in their respective national dresses.

We will also need to have some physical training. For this, we will have to face a large number of descents and ascents along a number of stone steps for several kilometers. However, at the end of the day, these heavy footsteps will result in so many beautiful memories to recall in future.

Day 1. (January 15)
We will arrive at the Shanghai airport, which is one of the most beautiful cities and known as the Paris of the East. Then we will move towards the train station from where we will travel to Huangshan. After reaching Huangshan we will stay and rest in the hotel. After taking enough rest we will go for hiking and other activities for the rest of the 2 days. (We will keep our luggage in the hotel).

Day 2. (January 16) (Breakfast & Dinner)
In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Huangshan National Park where we will enjoy the cable car ride. We will also cross the Lion peak and move towards Paiyun Pavilion. This day will be a tough one for us as we will have to face some pedestrian crossings over the beautiful mountains. At the end of the day, we will have a night stay at the hotel.

Day 3. (January 17) (Breakfast & Dinner)
In the morning we will watch the fascinating scenes of sunrise through the Yellow Mountains. After having breakfast, we will move towards our next beautiful hotel. When we will be on our way, we will have the opportunity to capture magnificent and splendid scenes of Buxian bridge, also known as 'Fairy Walking Bridge' as it has some magical features. In the evening, we can have tremendous panorama shots from the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion.

Day 4. (January 18) (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After getting free from the shooting, we will go down towards the cable car as well to enjoy the worth seeing hot springs of Yellow Mountains. We will also visit the ancient Chinese Village of Hungcon and stay in a hotel in the central district known as, Tunxi.

Day 5. (January 19) (Breakfast & Lunch)
At the very start of the day, we will move towards the ancient Chinese Village of Xu Guo. After spending the time in the village, we will reach the airport of Hangzhou City and will take the flight to the northwest of China i.e., Zhangjiajie.

Day 6. (January 20) (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Our day 6 will be spent in the Wulongyuan Scenic Area. We will have 20 minutes' drive to reach Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Our first destination then would be the Huangshi Village, ranked as the top five enchanting and attractive part of China. Then we will have lunch and will move towards the most beautiful valley of the world i.e., Golden Whip Stream.

Day 7. (January 21) (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Just after the breakfast, we will move towards the direction of Tianzi and have a chance to enjoy worth seeing sights, while walking for about two hours. On this day we will also visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and will get a chance to ride on the highest street elevator in the world.

Day 8. (January 22) (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
On the eighth day of our travelling, we will visit the mountains of Tianmen that is popular for its huge cave. Airplane service is also available here.

Day 9. (January 23) (Breakfast & Lunch)
At the last day of our trip, we will visit the world's most daring place, i.e., 'The Glass Bridge of China'. Here we can have a chance to make panoramic shots of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. After lunch, we will arrive at the airport and would take the flight to Shangai and return back to home with lots of beautiful memories.
